Ceremony of the Central Bank Award “Rodrigo Gómez” 2011
Every year CEMLA delivers a central bank award created in 1970 by its Board of Governors in memory of don Rodrigo Gómez. In 2011, the Award was granted to Dr.Daniel Sámano, Gerente de Investigación Monetaria, Dirección General de Investigación Económica, Banco de México, for his research paper titled In the Quest of Macroprudential Policy Tools. The ceremony was held on July 19 at the Museo Franz Mayer (Mexico City), where Mr Sámano received the Award from Dr. Agustín Carstens, Governor of the Banco de México, who was accompained by Lic. Javier Guzmán Calafell, General Director of CEMLA.
