Cross-border payments have been placed at the center of debates for: Central bank policymakers and professionals who study payment systems. The BR-CEMLA-SECO Symposium will be an opportunity for CEMLA member central banks and special guests to discuss the latest trends and challenges in cross-border payments. Of particular interest are issues associated with: potential gains in efficiency and speed; the reduction of rates and costs; and, feasible international payment transfer services in the Latin American and Caribbean region.

Objetive

The participants of the BR-CEMLA-SECO Symposium will share knowledge and experiences on the latest advances in innovation and scope of cross-border payment services, in addition to discussing challenges, such as those related to institutional and regulatory issues.

Aimed at

This BR-CEMLA-SECO Symposium is aimed at central bankers, collaborators and associates of CEMLA, as well as special guests from multilateral agencies and representatives of the payment industry.

Language

English and Spanish, with simultaneous interpretation.
