Content

The course agenda includes aspects such as an overview of the National Accounts System (Production Account, Distribution, Redistribution and Use of income accounts, Accumulation Accounts, the Balance Sheet and Rest of the World Account), Main sources of information (Censuses, Surveys and Administrative Records), Annual Accounts, Quarterly and Monthly Indicators, Satellite Accounts (Tourism, Environmental) and Other Extensions (Digital Economy, Regional Accounts), as well as aspects considered in the update of the System of National Accounts in 2025.

Objetive

The main objective of the Course is to understand the methodology of the 2008 System of National Accounts, and to identify the inputs and processes necessary for the production of said accounts, considering the experience of Mexico. The course covers both the core of the System of National Accounts and its extensions.

Aimed at

Compilers of central banks and statistical offices that participate in the generation of national accounting statistics and other macroeconomic statistics, as well as analysts who monitor the behavior of such aggregates and their macroeconomic interpretation.
