This is the first Technical Assistance of 2022, which is provided to the Central Bank of Ecuador, in which issues of Inclusion and Financial Education in the region will be addressed, especially financial education programs will be analyzed. This event generates a forum to exchange experiences, points of view and expectations of the Central Banks on the topic of analysis. In particular, in this event will be known the experiences of the programs and strategies to promote the development of economic and financial knowledge in the population of a country, since financial education is essential for the use of electronic means of payment, adequate use of interest rates and credit, among other activities that economic agents face in daily life.

Objetive

The objective of this event is to support, through the technical assistance program, the Central Banks that request it and on the topic of their interest. On this occasion, the Central Bank of Ecuador requested technical assistance on inclusion and financial education, to know about the experience of the central banks of the region on financial education programs that enable greater financial inclusion.

Aimed at

The event is aimed at technical-professional and high-level officials in areas related to financial inclusion, payment systems and research. This is a forum in which central bankers exchange experiences and opinions.
