Content

During the Seminar attention will be devoted, among other aspects, to natural resources products, units and industries; to the measurement of its value added; to the compilation of aggregates of income and capital accounts of companies in the natural resources sectors; to the compilation of quantity and price measures of the industries in the sector; and to the analysis and measurement of the impact of variations in the terms of trade of natural resources.

Objective

Advance in ensuring that compilers of national accounts properly register natural resources.

Aimed at

Officials from Latin American and the Caribbean central banks and of the national institutes of statistics of the region, who are responsible for compiling national accounts as well as those that participate in the analysis and monitoring of economic activity.
