XXI Meeting of Monetary Policy Makers
November 19 - 20, 2026
CEMLA Mexico City, Mexico
Face-to-face format
The annual meeting brings together senior monetary policy officials from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from advanced economies such as the United States and the Eurozone, to share recent experiences in monetary policy implementation. The discussions focus partly on domestic factors influencing monetary policy decisions, including the current and prospective inflation outlook and considerations coming from economic activity and labor markets. However, the weight of external factors, including uncertainty, geopolitical shocks, and global imbalances, with the attendant consequences for inflation and global activity, is also part of the exchange of strategies and approaches in the conduct of monetary policy. The meeting closes with a roundtable that facilitates this exchange of experiences in a more interactive way.
