Content
Topics to be addressed include the dissemination of central bank microdata of interest to researchers, metadata and other useful resources for researchers, data quality controls in the labs, anonymization techniques and output control, reproducibility, researchers' recommendations to data labs, as well as the acquisition, use, and management of administrative microdata in international organizations. The seminar will conclude with a session on the International Network for the Exchange of Experiences in the Statistical Management of Granular Data (INEXDA).
Objective
The objective of the seminar is to exchange experiences and ideas on the development, challenges, and benefits of establishing data labs within central banks.
Aimed at
The seminar is intended for officials from the central banks of Latin America and the Caribbean, preferably economists, statisticians, and researchers interested in creating data labs or accessing microdata, both for internal and external researcher.
