The program will address key developments in the fintech ecosystem, including stablecoin use cases, emerging trends in financial innovation, open finance, and tokenization. Discussions will examine the opportunities and risks associated with these innovations, their implications for financial stability, market structure, and regulatory frameworks, and their potential role in improving efficiency, competition, and financial inclusion. The sessions will also explore policy and implementation challenges, including governance arrangements, data management, interoperability, and the interaction between public and private sector initiatives in digital financial services.

Objective

The meeting aims to provide a comprehensive perspective on current and future developments in financial technology, foster dialogue among policymakers, regulators, and industry participants, and promote the exchange of experiences and best practices across jurisdictions. The discussions are intended to support informed decision-making and strengthen institutional capacities in response to the rapidly evolving landscape of financial innovation.
