CXX Meeting of Governors of Central Banks Members of CEMLA

CEMLA held its CXX Meeting of Governors of Central Banks Members of CEMLA on 8 May 2026 in Roda de Bará, Tarragona, Spain. During the session, the main institutional issues of the Center were discussed, including the review of the 2025 Activities Report, the 2025 Exercised Budget, the 2026 Modified Budget and the financial statements of CEMLA and the Retirement Plan at the end of 2025.

The Board was informed of CEMLA’s progress in training, technical meetings, assistance, publications and regional cooperation. The focus of activities on topics of high relevance to central banking, including new technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, payment systems, supervision, financial regulation and cyber resilience, was highlighted. in response to the priorities expressed by the Membership.
