CEMLA Assembly Meeting

CEMLA held its Assembly on 8 May 2026 in Roda de Bará, Tarragona, Spain, with the participation of its member institutions. During the session, the main institutional matters of the Center were followed up, including the review of statutory, budgetary, and financial issues.

One of the central agreements of the Assembly was the approval of the amend of the CEMLA Statutes, with the required support of its Members. Likewise, the 2025 Activities Report, the 2025 Exercised Budget, the 2026 Modified Budget, the CEMLA Financial Statements as of December 31, 2025, and the information corresponding to the Retirement Plan were presented.

The session allowed members to reaffirm their commitment to CEMLA’s institutional strengthening and to continue its work of cooperation, analysis, training and technical dialogue for the benefit of the Latin American and Caribbean central banking community.
