The preliminary programs includes presentations by specialists from various central banks on combating counterfeit currency. Also includes sessions to review statistics and reflect on the conclusions reached at the meeting.

Objetive

Analyze activities and tools for the detection of security elements for professionals and the public, internal methods and equipment of national analysis centers, recirculation controls and applications for users. In particular, international counterfeiting statistics and the impacts of the pandemic will be discussed, as well as new developments identified in the last three years regarding the techniques used by counterfeiters.

Aimed at

Officials from CEMLA member central banks (associates and collaborators), as well as representatives of agencies responsible for the prosecution of counterfeit currency crime.
