Content

Satellite accounts have been developed for a variety of economic and social activities, such as unpaid household work, tourism, health, the energy sector, informal work, non-profit institutions, ecology and environment, and research and development, among others. An inventory will be made of the Satellite Accounts available in the Region.

Objetive

The objective of the Seminar is to learn in detail about the developments of satellite accounts being carried out in the countries of the region, as well as the diversity of methodological aspects and the information requirements involved in their preparation.

Aimed at

Professionals from central banks and national statistical institutes in charge of compiling satellite accounts or analyzing their results and, in general, at those who are users of such statistics.
