Content

The seminar's agenda will include presentations by specialists from central banks, international organizations and the remittance industry, covering aspects such as identifying the current situation in the countries of the region regarding the measurement of remittances, both inflows and outflows; monitoring and explaining the recent evolution of remittances; the behavior of migratory flows from Latin American and Caribbean countries and their employment levels in destination countries; an assesment of the impact of remittances on recipient economies and to identify policies to promote the financial inclusion of clients in this market; as well as technological changes in the means to send and receive remittances, among other topics.

Objetive

Promote an exchange of ideas and experiences among participants on different aspects of remittances, migration and financial inclusion in this market.

Aimed at

Officials from central banks, bank superintendencies and financial sector supervisory agencies involved in the measurement, analysis and regulation of remittances, as well as representatives of the remittance industry.
