Call for Papers 2012

As a means of honoring the late Rodrigo Gomez, director general of Banco de Mexico, S.A., the governors of the Latin American central banks have established an annual award to encourage research projects of general interest to central banks.

From their creation, in September of 1970 the award has been granted so far, to the following works: 

 

Rodrigo Gómez Gómez
(1897-1970)

He joined to the Bank of Mexico in the year 1933, assuming the Directorate General from 1952 to 1970. He was one of the architects of a period of progress and stability in Mexico that extended from 1954 to 1970.
