Central Bank Communications Committee

The Central Bank Communications Committee was constituted in the IV Meeting on Central Bank Communications, was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from November 29 to December 1, 1999. Its main mission consists of to become a permanent mechanism of follow-up and reference on central bank communications issues; create links with other central bank areas in order to promote projects related to the evaluation and development of the potential benefits of an intensive use of communications media in the enhancement of internal and external communications; push forward the project tasks proposed for the multi-disciplinary group mentioned in Section II, subsection 3, of this document and Prepare agendas and define methodologies for future central bank communications meetings.
