II Meeting of the Fintech Forum

    Fintech and the priorities for Latin American and Caribbean Central Banks. Digital Currencies. Regulation and Fintech. Defining an agenda for the Forum.
  • Objective:
    Discuss and exchange experiences on topics related to fintech. Issues such as the institutional perspective and approach about fintech (plans, ongoing projects, current work); novelties and initiatives related to private/public issuance of digital currencies, and the main implications for central banks; key developments related to regulatory approaches for financial technologies; among other. The meeting will also allow the discussion on the methodology and the agenda of the Forum.
    Members of the Fintech Experts Forum and senior officials from CEMLA's members, together with other participating institutions with responsibilities in regulation and financial stability, payment systems, communication, technologies and other related areas involved in the development, regulation and operation of financial technology.
    English and Spanish with simultaneous interpretation.
