Course of Dynare

    The course covers the following topics: (i) introduction to DSGE modeling and Dynare, (ii) estimating linear(-ized) DSGE models, (iii) using estimated DSGE models, (iv) approximation of non-linear models, and (v) optimal policy.
  • Objective:
    Allow the mid-level participants of Dynare to use all the functions that have the platform and that have more tools for the analysis of economic problems.
    Middle and upper level professionals involved in the development of macroeconomic policy research and analysis using stochastic dynamic general equilibrium (DSGE) models. Participants must have experience in Dynare, as well as academic training in a relevant field (economics, mathematics, or statistics, among others) or equivalent experience and good knowledge of quantitative instruments.
    English without simultaneous interpretation.
