  • CONTENT:
    New central bank functions: strategy and fields of action; compliance with standards, transparency and access to information, codes of ethics and conduct; financial and market intelligence; corporate responsibility (financial education, financial inclusion, cultural activities, fostering research, social-charitable activities, etc.); the financial crisis and central banking. How has it impacted their configuration, structure and functions?; organization of central bank committees and commissions. Different examples in the Latin American central banks.
  • Objective:
    Provide the various representatives of the participating central banks with a framework to analyze the models to follow and the best practices learned on central bank governance.
  • AIMED AT:
    Professionals from CEMLA’s Latin American and Caribbean member central banks who have a high level of understanding of central bank governance issues, allowing them to actively participate in the discussions of the Seminar and its working groups.

    Spanish and English with simultaneous translation.
