V Meeting of Experts on the Fight of Money Counterfeiting

  • Objective:
    Analyze metrics and analysis models to assess the quality of counterfeiting, most efficient security features of banknotes and coins, awareness-raising campaigns aimed at businesses and consumers to fight counterfeiting, as well as new threats in the Internet era.
    Senior officers from CEMLA’s member central banks (associates and collaborators), and representatives of police corps in charge of prosecuting money counterfeiting and academic and research institutions interested in the study of money counterfeiting. Active participation is expected from the participants in the discussion of the topics proposed during the meeting.
