  • CONTENT:
    The aim is to analize the main types of derivatives, with an emphasis on practical applications. Central effort will be devoted to derivatives on gold, also with emphasis on applications. There will be workshops guided by strong conceptual bases.
  • Objective:
    1. Derivative instruments, markets and agents.
    2. Vanilla options on different underlying assets (stocks, interest rates, currencies, merchandise).
    3. Accounting aspects of derivatives.
  • AIMED AT:
    The event is primarily targeted at the areas of reserve management, monetary policy, financial stability, studies, risk measurement, internal control, internal audit, supervision and regulation of financial institutions and accounting under IFRS central banks and superintendents associated with CEMLA. It is preferable that participants have working knowledge of financial mathematics, traditional financial instruments, financial markets and basic statistics.
