| IV Meeting of Central Bank Heads of Security PLACE AND DATE:
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 8-9 October 2009. OBJECTIVE:
To analyze new technologies applied to electronic security and information protection, topics related to protection of authorities, business continuity, the role of central banks in persecuting the crime of counterfeiting money from the legal and operational viewpoint and the laundering of assets. PARTICIPANTS:
CEMLA’s Member Central Banks. LANGUAGE:
English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION:
Names of the participants and, if applicable, the title or the subject addressed in the papers to be presented, should be provided to CEMLA and to the Central Bank of Dominican Republic by 31st July at the latest, by the registration form annex. DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PAPERS:
Papers must be delivered to the host and to CEMLA by September 18th 2009 at the latest. The text must be no more than 25 pages long, double spaced, preferably written in English or Spanish, and formatted in WORD for Windows. When sending this information, please notify the host of any specifications on the visual equipment and the time needed to make the presentation. METHODOLOGY OF THE MEETING:
The meeting will be organized in plenary morning and afternoon sessions aimed at the discussion of the papers drafted by the participants, and the presentations delivered by the guest speakers.
